Description
Vertical composition black and white photography of old stone chapel integrated with the rock. Porch 35 meters high and 28 meters wide, which houses two superimposed chapels of the ninth and fourteenth century and is carved into limestone. Viewpoint from indoor to outdoor. Image shot in Caves of la Balme (Les Grottes de la Balme). Visited since 1807, the Caves of La Balme, located in La Balme-les-Grottes city, are one of the most outstanding natural areas in France. There are small basins (gours), draperies, stalactites and stalagmites, labyrinths, underground lake. This tourist place is located 40 km from Lyon city, in Bugey mountains, in Isere (on the border of the department of Ain), Rhone-Alpes region in France (Europe). A property release was acquired for this picture.
